We are called to wholeheartedly engage in the “Great Commission” and the “Great Commandment,” starting in our own homes and reaching out to communities around the world. Through evangelism training, intentional discipleship, and teaching focused on kingdom-building, we aim to foster a spirit of compassion and connection within the local church.
Beacon Light Ministries International (BLMI) is a passionate Non-Profit founded in 2012 by Rev. Keith Howard in Fort Pierce, Florida, driven by a heartfelt vision: “to make disciples, according to the Great Commission,” as outlined in Matthew 28:19-20. Inspired by Isaiah 60:1, “Arise, shine; for your light has come! and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you,” we encourage each individual to let their light shine brightly in the world.
Our mission is both simple and profound: we envision a community where every person is educated, encouraged, and equipped to embody the love and teachings of Jesus. Through a diverse array of events and speaking engagements, we strive to create spaces of growth and connection. We believe these efforts will nurture spiritual revival and awakening among God’s people, deepening our sense of hope and unity.

Meet the Team
Lord Jesus Christ – President
Jesus Christ is the incarnate Word of God, fully human and fully divine, Creator and Savior, of the World, and He became a human being so that he could identify with our weaknesses and struggles, and most importantly, so that he could give his life to pay the penalty for the sins of all humankind (John 3:16; John 1:1,14; Hebrews 2:17; Philippians 2:5-11).
Rev. Keith Howard
**Keith Howard: A Journey of Redemption and Service**
Rev. Keith Howard is the Founder of Beacon Light Ministries International, Inc., a not-for-profit dedicated to equipping individuals for service. He also serves as a ministry contractor with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, where he provides leadership and conducts Christian Life and Witness Evangelistic Training. Based in Fort Pierce, Florida, Keith is a Pastor to Pastors, offering prayer and confidential consultation to those in need. He is a devoted husband and proud father of children and grandchildren. After a 34-year career in civil engineering with the government, Keith retired to fully embrace his calling.
On November 27th, 1994, Keith rededicated his life to Christ, accepting Him as his Personal Lord and Savior. This profound transformation stemmed from a moment of deep personal reflection. Struggling with grief over his father, Mayo’s passing—his dearest friend—Keith felt utterly alone and spiritually bankrupt. In his darkest hour, he remembered the comforting words of his grandmother, Lula: “Keith, if you ever get in trouble, call on Jesus, and He will come and save you.” Trusting in that promise, Keith called out, and Jesus answered.
He firmly believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died on the cross and rose on the third day for our sins. As Romans 5:8 beautifully states, “God demonstrated his love for us in this: While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” After repenting for his sins, Keith accepted God’s forgiveness, and his life was forever changed. He quit drinking and smoking cold turkey, a decision he has upheld since 1994. Since that pivotal moment, God has worked in miraculous ways in Keith’s life.
In 2003, sensing God’s call to vocational ministry, Keith enrolled in Moody Bible College to complete his theological studies. He has been blessed to serve three churches in various capacities, including Sunday School Teacher, Deacon, Men’s Director, and Ordained Pastor. Furthermore, he has volunteered as a Chaplain for Vitas Hospice South Florida and coached at Men’s Mission and Ministries for the Florida Baptist Convention. Keith’s journey is a testament to the transformative power of faith and the call to serve others.
My journey through extensive Church experience and Convention ministry, alongside a diverse background in the secular business world, has deeply influenced my understanding of the Church’s essential mission to share the transformative love of Christ with everyone around us.
Throughout my ministry, I’ve embraced the beauty of collaborative leadership, recognizing that our diverse experiences bring us together in meaningful ways. This journey has allowed me to communicate the Gospel in practical and relatable ways, reaching individuals right where they are in their lives. I’ve been blessed to witness the incredible power of God at work, experiencing His unwavering grace and forgiveness firsthand—forces that have the power to heal and change lives profoundly.
One of the greatest challenges we face today is nurturing strong teaching and discipleship within the Church community. It’s crucial that we foster accountability and mentoring relationships that support believers as they grow, helping them to cultivate vibrant, fulfilling Christian lives. By doing this, we equip our community with the Biblical wisdom and practical skills they need to embrace lives rich in meaning and purpose through Christ.
There’s no greater joy for me than seeing someone come to faith in Christ and walk alongside them as they embark on their journey toward spiritual maturity and dedicated service. I continually feel reassured of God’s calling in my life as I have experienced His clear confirmation and abundant blessings over the years.
In 2014, we took a significant step forward by launching the mission ministry of Beacon Light Ministries International, founded on the desire to demonstrate love through impactful global programs that uplift those in need. Through initiatives like our men’s ministry, evangelistic outreaches, Beacon Light Orphanages, and feeding programs. We have witnessed countless individuals encounter the compassionate embrace of Christ.
Our BEACON LIGHT MINISTRY focuses on energizing discipleship within local Churches and enhancing existing ministries through tailored resources and support. Our mission is to provide practical, Bible-based strategies that empower individuals to step into leadership while offering encouragement as they face life’s challenges. Together, we can spark a movement of transformation and faith that touches hearts and changes lives!

Doctrinal Statement
Water Baptism: We believe baptism in water shall be by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and shall be administered to only those who give evidence of being born again. (Matthew 28:19- 20)
The Lord’s Supper: The Lord’s Supper is the second ordinance commanded by Christ whereby believers of like faith and order partake of unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine, which are symbolic of the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ. At the Lord’s Supper, believers remember the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ until His return. It is a time of introspection when each individual believer evaluates his walk with Christ (1 Corinthians 11:23-28).
The Scriptures: We believe the Bible was “God-breathed” or verbally inspired. The Bible is the believer’s only infallible rule of faith and practice. It is the first and final authority as pertains to the matters of the church. (Psalm 119:105; 2 Timothy 3:16-17).
The God Head: There is one God, self-existent in the three persons called the Trinity who were equal in nature, essence, and power; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. ( Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians\ 13:14).
The Person of Christ: Christ, the God-Man, who is eternal, was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life ( Matthew 1:18-25; John 1:1-3;John 1:14;Hebrews 4:15).
By His substitutionary death, burial, and bodily resurrection on the third day. He made fun and complete atonement for the sins of the world ( Isaiah 53:4-6;2 Corinthians.
We believe in the sanctity of marriage and that marriage should be between one man and one woman who are both believers. We believe God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). Divorce is contrary to the principles of marriage and its original institution by God and was only allowed for the hardness of men’s hearts (Deuteronomy 24:1, Matthew 19:3-9). The members should refrain from divorce except due to such situations, as described in Matthew 19:9.
Pastors/Ministers and the members of BEACON LIGHT MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL, INC. shall not perform same-sex weddings for members and non-members but will conduct wedding ceremonies for one man and one woman as biologically designed by birth.
5:14-15; 1 John 2:2).
