Beacon Light Ministries International (BLMI) is a nonprofit ministry founded in 2012 by Rev. Keith Howard, based in Fort Pierce, Florida. Our vision is “to make disciples, according to the Great Commission.” Matthew 28:19-20

Our mission is “for every person to become educated, encouraged, and equipped to be more like Jesus.” In pursuit of this mission, BLMI has created a variety of events and speaking engagements. I believe that these initiatives will lead to spiritual revival and awakening among God’s people.

Life is always throwing us challenges. Whether it’s the uncertainty of the evolving pandemic, loss of job security, or the extra parental responsibility many parents became faced with. At the very least, thousands of people have experienced a moderate disruption in their life. For some, this was a very lonely time, while subsequently, they were left feeling like they had no place to turn. In fact, the loss of a loved one (either due to the pandemic or for other reasons) has left many people feeling shattered and looking for support. Many people forgot about the strength of their faith, while others clung to their belief in Jesus Christ as their source of strength.

To educate people with sustainable solutions that transform the social and economic fabric of life in underserved communities locally, nationally, and globally. To equip churches and faith-based organizations with tools to encourage a platform for resource sharing between churches and faith-based organizations for community outreach and to make committed disciples for Jesus Christ.

Missions
Our international ministry is on a mission to eradicate hunger and ensure that individuals live sustainable lives worldwide. We want to teach our followers how to take care of themselves by using the fundamentals of faith through our disciple-making ministry. While our ministry stretches worldwide, we have ministry outreach in Kenya, Uganda, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Pakistan. We believe that by touching the lives of impoverished people and teaching them how to become self-sustainable, we are passing on the love of Christ.

Jesus Christ is the incarnate Word of God, fully human and fully divine, Creator and Savior, of the World, and He became a human being so that he could identify with our weaknesses and struggles, and most importantly, so that he could give his life to pay the penalty for the sins of all humankind (John 3:16; John 1:1,14; Hebrews 2:17; Philippians 2:5-11).

He is also a Ministry Contractor with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, which provides Leadership over-site and Christian Life and Witness Evangelistic Training. Keith is a Pastor to Pastors with prayer and confidential consultation. He is based in Fort Pierce, Florida. Keith is married, with children and grandchildren.While working in Government in Civil Engineering, thirty-four years, Retired. I rededicated and accepted Jesus Christ as my Personal Lord and Savior on November 27th, 1994. I realized that I was a sinner, and I had drunk enough liquor and smoked enough cigarettes, and broken enough family members’ hearts. One night I was drinking and down in the dumps feeling sorry because my dad, Mayo had passed away who was my best friend and I felt alone and spiritually bankrupt, then I thought about something that my grandmother, Lula, told me when I was a kid. She said, “Keith, if you ever get in trouble, call on Jesus, and He will come and save you. “He did.” I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus Christ died on a cross and rose on the third day for my sins. God demonstrated his love for me in this: While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8) Then I repented of my sins and begged for God’s forgiveness. I accepted His forgiveness, and Jesus changed my life. ‘I quit drinking and smoking cold turkey and have not had either since 1994.’ God has worked in marvelous and miraculous ways in my life since then. In 2003, God called me to prepare for vocational ministry. I started attending Moody Bible College to complete my theological studies. The Lord has blessed me to serve three churches as Sunday School Teacher, Deacon, Men’s Director, Ordained Pastor, Volunteer Chaplain for Vitas Hospice South Florida. I was blessed to serve as a Coach, Men’s Mission, and Ministries for the Florida Baptist Convention.
This extensive Church experience and Convention ministry combined with a varied secular business background have dramatically impressed upon me the critical importance of the Church and its mission to reach the world for Christ.
Throughout my ministry, I have enjoyed a team model of leadership. God’s blessings in the diversity of my background have enabled me to effectively communicate in practical and relevant ways that touch people with the truth of the Gospel right where they live. I have seen firsthand the power of God. I know personally how God’s unfailing grace and forgiveness can restore and dramatically change people’s lives and impact their responses to life circumstances. One of the most critical needs in the Church today is to develop strong teaching and discipleship that offers accountability and mentoring relationships that help believers grow and maintain a healthy Christian life. In doing this, I believe that we provide members with the Biblical tools, knowledge, and practical skills necessary to live a whole and meaningful Christian life.
There is no greater joy for me than seeing people come to faith in Christ, and then help them grow to the point of Christian maturity and faithful service. I am confident of God’s calling in my life, as He has so clearly confirmed and blessed me throughout these years.
Beacon Light Ministries International started its mission’s ministry in 2014 to sponsor global programs to help people by putting love in action. Through our men’s ministry, evangelistic outreaches, Beacon Light Orphanages, feeding programs, countless people have experienced ministry wrapped in the love of Christ.
The BEACON LIGHT MINISTRY is helping to start discipleship in the local Church and strengthen existing ministries with resources and one-on-one visits and evaluations. Our mission is to present practical and Bible-based strategies to help men become leaders and help encourage men through some of life’s most pressing issues.
BEACON LIGHT MINISTRIES INTERNATIONALS is helping hundreds of households in East Africa with feeding programs and spiritual discipleship. We have planted Beacon Light churches in Kenya and West Pokot, Uganda.

Doctrinal Statement
Water Baptism: We believe baptism in water shall be by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and shall be administered to only those who give evidence of being born again. (Matthew 28:19- 20)
The Lord’s Supper: The Lord’s Supper is the second ordinance commanded by Christ whereby believers of like faith and order partake of unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine, which are symbolic of the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ. At the Lord’s Supper, believers remember the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ until His return. It is a time of introspection when each individual believer evaluates his walk with Christ (1 Corinthians 11:23-28).
The Scriptures: We believe the Bible was “God-breathed” or verbally inspired. The Bible is the believer’s only infallible rule of faith and practice. It is the first and final authority as pertains to the matters of the church. (Psalm 119:105; 2 Timothy 3:16-17).
The God Head: There is one God, self-existent in the three persons called the Trinity who were equal in nature, essence, and power; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. ( Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians\ 13:14).
The Person of Christ: Christ, the God-Man, who is eternal, was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life ( Matthew 1:18-25; John 1:1-3;John 1:14;Hebrews 4:15).
By His substitutionary death, burial, and bodily resurrection on the third day. He made fun and complete atonement for the sins of the world ( Isaiah 53:4-6;2 Corinthians.
We believe in the sanctity of marriage and that marriage should be between one man and one woman who are both believers. We believe God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). Divorce is contrary to the principles of marriage and its original institution by God and was only allowed for the hardness of men’s hearts (Deuteronomy 24:1, Matthew 19:3-9). The members should refrain from divorce except due to such situations, as described in Matthew 19:9.
Pastors/Ministers and the members of BEACON LIGHT MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL, INC. shall not perform same-sex weddings for members and non-members but will conduct wedding ceremonies for one man and one woman as biologically designed by birth.
